How To Pause Your Account

Pausing your account or specific counties on MotivatedSellers.com is a quick and flexible process that allows you to control when you receive leads. This page will walk you through the steps to pause your entire account or select counties and explain why there may be a short delay in the process. Keep in mind that maintaining a stable account is crucial for maximizing lead flow and preserving your standing within our system.

If you need to pause your account, the process is simple and flexible:

  • Pausing Your Entire Account: Log in to your account and toggle the green switch from active to paused. When your account is paused, the switch will turn yellow, indicating the pause is in effect.
  • Pausing Specific Counties: If you prefer to pause lead flow in specific counties, you can use the switch control next to each active county to pause only those areas, while keeping others active.

Please note that pausing your entire account or specific counties may take a few minutes to take effect. This is due to our need to comply with FCC 1-to-1 consent rules.

Why Is There a Delay?

When a seller is filling out a form on one of our websites, we must present your name as a potential buyer after they provide their property address but before they submit their personal contact information. In rare cases, if a seller has already started filling out the form and we’ve shown them your name, you will still receive the lead—even if your account or county is paused before the form is submitted. Stability Matters

While you can activate and pause your account at any time, maintaining a stable account is important for both your lead flow and your account standing within our system. Frequent changes to your account status can impact our ability to set consistent advertising budgets, which may result in fewer leads. The more stable your account is, the better your standing in the system and the greater your chances of receiving a steady flow of leads.
